Originally the indoor facility at SPSA had a canteen that was only able to provide lollies, cold drinks and packet chips. With input and drive from all staff at South Pine Sports Association it was decided that a push for better canteen facilities was required. These improved canteen facilities were needed to provide viable food and beverage options and improve the atmosphere for the many players, spectators and general public that use the facility.
The proposal for a new canteen was put to a number of local businesses and first class work and support was found from A.C.E.P.T, Careers Australia, Moreton Bay Regional Council, Bridgeman Stainless, Albany Creek Gas Fitting & Plumbing & DB Electrical
South Pine Sports Association would like to sincerely thank all those involved in the project and reiterate highlight the huge reliance this project has had on the local business community getting behind it. The result has been fantastic. For many years to come this canteen should provide the SPSA Indoor Centre, and its members, with an improved atmosphere and a variety of food and beverage options.
